Episode 18 Show Notes:
Welcome to the Episode 18 of the Knit Actually Podcast!
· Actually Working
· I talk about projects I am currently working on including
o Windschief Hat for my husband
o Sockhead Hat for me!
o Baley Sweater for my son
· Actually Hand Dyed
o I dyed a BUNCH of things this week!!! First, I skeined up the yarn I dyed in the class I took at Fancy Tiger Crafts
o I kettle dyed some Aran weight MCN in Peacock Blue for a hat for my husband for Christmas
o I hand dyed some MCN Fingering, which I’m using for my Sockhead Hat
o I made two attempts at speckled yarn, on a DK stellina base. The first one is lovely, but definitely not speckled
o And the second turned out pretty much exactly how I wanted it to
o THEN, I tried stencilling a sock blank, and I was pretty happy with the results on my first try
o Last I dyed some self striping yarn, and I feel like I’ve finally got the hang of it!
