Episode 10 Show Notes:

Welcome to the Episode 10 of the Knit Actually Podcast! This episode is focused (almost) entirely on my recap from Yarn Along the Rockies. Enjoy!

Yarn Along the Rockies Recap

Stop 1—Gypsy Wools (Boulder, CO)

A very cute store in Boulder. The staff was VERY friendly.

The woman showed me a great book called Tundra Elements, which has “recipes” to Choose your own adventure and create a customized sweater. I didn’t buy it but it looked pretty great.

I bought one skein of Manos Del Uruguay Alegria, in the Agave colorway.

Stop 2 – Mew Mew Yarns (Lafeyette, CO)

Stop 3—Shuttles, Spindles and Skeins (Boulder, CO)

Shuttles was my go to yarn store until the Longmont Yarn Shoppe opened up. I didn’t expect to buy anything there, but they had MJ Yarns Worsted in Midnight Orchid, and I couldn’t resist!

Stop 4 – The Lemonade Shop (Castle Rock, CO)

This stop was not officially on the crawl, but I love the yarn so much I had to stop by for the studio open house. I bought one skein of The Stormy Day on the Worsted Weight base, and also an adorable project bag by Tanis Fiber Arts

Stop 5 – Stash (Castle Rock, CO)

A great store in downtown Castle Rock. I bought a skein of Knerd String DK in the Field of Greens colorway

Stop 6 – Everything Alpaca (Castle Rock, CO)

Stop 7 – I Love Knitting (Denver, CO)

Stop 8 – Fancy Tiger Crafts (Denver, CO)

My favorite store! I bought three pieces of fabric on clearance that I’m hoping to use to make some project bags. I also bought the Autumn 2015 issue of Pom Pom Quarterly

Stop 9  -- Fabric Bliss (Denver, CO)

Stop 10 – Wild Yarns (Denver, CO)

Stop 11 – Lamp Shoppe (Denver, CO)
